Sudan: A revolution in trauma

Sudan’s defense force rulers have admitted that they ordered the safety operation that led to the killing of a minimal of 100 protesters final week.

Troops and govt-backed militia groups moved into Khartoum, attacking protesters who have been demanding a return to civilian rule, following the removal of outmoded President Omar Al-Bashir.

The BBC’s Africa editor Fergal Keane has been speaking to some of of us that witnessed the violence in Khartoum.
